Boyfriend to perform at YinYueTai V-Chart Awards, as well as promote, in China

Starship Entertainment recently announced that male group Boyfriend will be attending and performing at China’s YinYueTai V-Chart Awards, and will also promote in the country as well.

The YinYueTai V-Chart Awards is China’s biggest music awards ceremony, and has hosted Korean groups such as Super Junior, EXO, and CNBLUE in the past. On March 13th, Starship Entertainment announced that Boyfriend, who is fresh off the release of their newest track “Bounce“, would attend the awards ceremony, which will take place on April 11th.

In addition to attending the awards, the agency added that Boyfriend would be holding a solo concert in Taiwan on April 5th as a thank you to their Chinese fans for their continuing support. With China being one of the largest markets for K-pop, Boyfriend’s popularity in the country is a good sign for the group.

Meanwhile, the group has also scheduled to hold concerts all across the world, confirming stops in both Latin America and Europe for 2015.
