BTS Becomes 1st Group In The World To Ever Hold This Billboard Chart Record

BTS has set a new record on the Artist 100 chart and is reigning king on several others.

BTS has just made history on the Billboard charts in a major way.

Just when you think the reigning Kings of K-Pop can’t soar any higher, they do. BTS has now set a new precedent, not only for K-Pop artists, but for groups around the globe.

Billboard’s Artist 100 Chart, which was created back in 2014, determines artists’ ranks by combining radio play, fan interaction on social media, and streaming to show their true popularity.

In the five years since the chart’s formation, no group has ever held the No. 1 spot for five weeks — until now. As of May 21, BTS is the very first group in Billboard history to top the Artist 100 Chart for five whole weeks!

The Artist 100 isn’t the only chart BTS is slaying right now. BTS’s “Boy With Luv” (feat. Halsey) ranks at No. 61 on the Hot 100, at No. 24 on the Pop Songs chart, and at No. 30 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.

Map of the Soul: Persona sits at No. 5 on the Top Albums Sales chart, No. 17 on the Billboard 200, and at No. 19 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. It also takes No. 1 on the World Albums for the fifth week in a row.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, BTS has now been charting at No. 1 on the Social 50 chart for their 127th week!
