BTS Breaks Adele’s 5 Year Long iTunes Worldwide Record With “Black Swan”

They now have the most #1’s.

BTS continues to break records! After a successful promotional period of their comeback “ON”, the group has not taken a rest in terms of soaring to new heights.

The group broke the all-time record of the song with the most iTunes #1’s worldwide in the morning of July 6. ARMYs worked hard to increase the winning streak of “Black Swan” from 97 to 103 countries.

“Black Swan” is a track from their album Map of the Soul: 7, and its music video was released on March 4, 2020.

With 103 countries behind them, BTS broke Adele‘s record of charting #1 on iTunes in 102 countries. She gained this record in 2015 when she released the critically-acclaimed song “Hello”.

In response to the news, ARMYs trended “BTS WORLD DOMINATION” on Twitter to congratulate the group for their achievement.

BTS also has 96 world #1’s on iTunes with “Sweet Night”, V‘s OST for the drama Itaewon Class.
