BTS’s “Dynamite” Makes Billboard Chart History With New No.1 Achievements

They’re back at No.1 and stronger than ever.

BTS is paving the way through the Billboard charts with “Dynamite”!

Earlier this month, BTS’s disco-pop sensation became their first song ever to chart at No.1 on the “Hot 100” chart. It held onto its position for two weeks before dropping to No.2 in its third week.

Now, thanks to fans’ streaming and sales, “Dynamite” is back at No.1 on the “Hot 100”, and topping the “Global 200” and “Global 200 (Excluding US)” charts! This makes BTS the only artist in history to chart at No.1 on all three charts at the same time.

“Dynamite” is also the first song to top the “Global 200” and “Global 200 (Excluding US)” charts simultaneously. These new charts, which rank songs by streaming and sales only, premiered just two weeks ago.

According to Billboard, “Dynamite” rose to No.1 on the “Global 200” with 92.1 million streams and  58,000 downloads sold in the week ending September 24. On the “Global 200 (Excluding US)” chart, the song achieved 78.9 million streams and 27,000 downloads sold.

The song has a total of eight “Dynamite” remixes that have contributed to its skyrocketing chart success, four of which were released on September 17.
