In a lengthy public statement, the fan acknowledged breaking the no-camera policy and said they cooperated fully, deleting their photos and complying with removal without resistance.

They then go on to describe “inhumane” and “horrifying” treatment by the security team.

“Instead of carrying out a standard and professional removal, the US security guards subjected me to insane bullying and humiliation:

Physical Assault: They resorted to extreme physical violence, including grabbing me by the neck-an act that is an outright crime in any country.

Illegal Confiscation & Privacy Violation: They forcibly confiscated my SD Card. Without my consent, they illegally photographed my ID, treating my private information like a trophy to brag about.

Intimidation & Humiliation: Using severe verbal threats to force me into complying with their malicious demands.”

The statement soon went viral and sparked massive response from fellow fans online. Korean netizens accused HYBE of always receiving such complaints and that the agency’s security teams used “outright violence” against the fansite.

HYBE’s b*stards honestly never change. There have been endless complaints from the fandoms of HYBE artists, and they’ve even made the news for violent and excessive responses. Do they really think they can keep running these tour circuits with no proper content and no fansites? Get it together…

Saying they ‘crossed a line’ isn’t even enough. This is just outright violence.

I already knew they were a thug company, but crossing the line like this? Who’s the one who grabbed someone by the throat? That’s straight-up assault.
