BTS May Be Performing In J-Hope’s Hometown, According To Local News
BTS‘s 2019 schedule is already jampacked, but they may be squeezing in a concert in J-Hope‘s hometown, Gwangju.
Moodeungilbo, Gwangju’s local newspaper, has reported that the supergroup will be taking part in Gwangju’s multi-artist Super Concert on April 28. The concert is being held to promote the 2019 World Aquatics Championships, which will take place in July.
Originally, the concert was planned to take place 100 days before the championships, but it was changed to 75 days, to fit BTS’s schedule. Approximately 10 idol groups are expected to perform.
The Super Concert has received the mayor’s signature of approval, and its organizers are predicting that BTS will contribute to the promotion and success of the World Aquatics Championships’ opening. As of now, BTS’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment has not responded to these reports, nor confirmed BTS’s Super Concert performance.
