BIGHIT MUSIC Apologizes For Blunder During BTS J-Hope’s Listening Party, But Fans Are Unimpressed

“Bighit srsly needs to fix itself before 2025.”

Recently, BIGHIT MUSIC came under fire for multiple blunders regarding the listening party for BTS J-Hope‘s new album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1. Not only did the posts promoting the listening party initially have the wrong dates (and weren’t fixed for nine hours), but the wrong promotional link was shared during the listening party and wasn’t fixed for an hour.

In the wake of the mistakes, BIGHIT MUSIC has released a more formal apology about the lengthy errors. Shared on the BTS BIGHIT Twitter account on March 30, the label apologized for both the wrong link and schedule.

[Notice] We express our sincerest apologies for presenting an incorrect download link during yesterday’s Stationhead listening party. Stationhead confirmed and corrected a technical mapping error, but we deeply apologize for the inconvenience. We also express our deepest regret for posting a schedule image with an error.

Moving forward, we will make utmost efforts to put forth preventative measures in advance. We extend our cordial invitation once more to join us in celebrating and supporting j-hope’s new album, HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1

But the apology hasn’t received the best responses. On a forum post about it, the comments are rather scathing and critical, wondering how a company as big and wealthy as BIGHIT MUSIC can continue to cause problems like this.

Reactions to the tweet are similarly critical.

Hopefully mistakes like this won’t continue for BTS’s members in the future.
