After fans had become detectives in figuring out if there was a special collaboration in the works, BTS‘s J-Hope dropped “Chicken Noodle Soup” featuring Becky G.
Not only did it spark a dance challenge, but cultural appropriation concerns as well.
Despite this, “Chicken Noodle Soup” is already breaking records soon after its release.
The song has made J-Hope the second Korean Solo artist besides PSY, with “Gangnam Style”, to reach the #1 spot on the US’s iTunes Songs Chart.
