The artist has also broken a solo Guinness World Record!

Over the years, K-Pop artists have broken records created by Guinness. BTS has set numerous records for their musical releases as a group, including several in a single year.

On May 22, 2023, Jimin hit a collective one billion streams on Spotify. While many artists have reached that achievement, Jimin hit this impressive accomplishment just 393 days after his solo debut on the platform.

With this feat, he became the fastest solo male K-Pop artist breaking the record set by the previous holder — BTS’s Jungkook! Jungkook set the record two months prior, hitting one billion streams after 409 days.

According to Guinness, the artist’s most streamed tracks are “With You” (230.6 million streams) and “Like Crazy” (181.4 million streams), directly attributing his achievement to the release of Face.
