BTS’s Jimin Has Made The Business of Fashion’s “BoF 500” Class

Jimin has been officially recognized for his impact on the fashion industry.

If The Business of Fashion (BOF) had a yearbook, BTS‘s Jimin would be in the “Class of 2019” photo!

According to their official website, The Business of Fashion is the “definitive professional index of the people shaping the $2.4 trillion fashion industry”. The BoF 500 list is made up of fashion influencers who are pushing the industry forward and have the potential to be impactful on a global scale.

Each of the BoF 500 members are hand-selected by the editors of The Business of Fashion, based on hundreds of nominations received from current BoF 500 members, extensive data analysis, and research. On September 30, BoF announced their 7th annual BoF 500.

When the BoF 500 “Class of 2019” was announced, just ahead of the annual BoF 500 gala at Paris Fashion Week, fans were thrilled to see Jimin’s name included. His BoF profile describes him as, “the lead vocalist of the ubiquitous K-pop group BTS [that] has drawn the attention of Puma and Dior, marking the house’s first venture into men’s stagewear for a pop band.” Jimin’s career achievements and personal style were also highlighted.

It’s safe to say that BTS isn’t just paving the way for the music industry; they’re also making their mark in fashion!
