Well, it seems like Jimin’s impeccable taste in fashion has been noticed after it was announced that the idol was the newest global brand ambassador for the designer brand DIOR.

In a statement from the brand, not only did many believe that it opens the possibilities for other members to represent brands, but their message showcased respect for Jimin.

The South Korean artist now embodies the spirit and singularity of Dior style, modernity with a timeless signature.

After the initial announcement from media outlets, Dior officially confirmed the news in their latest Instagram post. The brand shared its excitement about having Jimin as their newest global ambassador and working alongside the Artistic Director of Dior men’s collections, Mr. Kim Jones.

Along with the announcement, Dior shared some top-tier pictures of Jimin in the designer brand, showcasing how perfect the idol is to represent the brand on a global scale.

Jimin being chosen by DIOR seems like the perfect match as the idol has been seen wearing the designer brand on many occasions, even looking like he would feel right at home modeling the brand on a catwalk.

When the news was announced, ARMYs worldwide couldn’t hide their excitement for the announcement. Alongside it being such a huge achievement for Jimin, he is now the first member of BTS to be a brand ambassador for a global brand solo.

Many also couldn’t get over the fact that following his collaboration with BIGBANG‘s Taeyang and rumors that he is due to release his solo album next month, the idol’s schedule is set to be jam-packed.

Jimin joins some huge Korean names as brand ambassadors for DIOR, including BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, actor Jung Hae In, and actor Nam Joo Hyuk. Hopefully, with Fashion Week on its way, they will all have the chance to interact at the shows.
