BTS’s Jin Commended For His “Respectful” Accessory During Hug Event
BTS celebrated their 11th anniversary with the 2024 FESTA event on June 13. This year’s celebrations were extra special because Jin was discharged from the military the day before.
The eldest BTS member was excited to reunite with ARMYs, so he held a fanmeeting, including performances and his anticipated hug event for lucky ARMYs who had won a raffle. He was dressed with a sign inviting the 1,000 ARMYs to hug him.

As he knew ARMYs would be excited to finally hug him, Jin advised them not to run at him or “no attack, please.”

During the hug event, as Jin and ARMYs hugged, those at home noticed something. They realized that Jin wearing the sign on himself throughout the event created a barrier between himself and the other person so chests wouldn’t touch. Many found this respectful and gentlemanly.
