On July 26, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement when Jin posted an update on Weverse… but he wasn’t alone!

Back in June, WINNER‘s Yoon enlisted for his mandatory service, and after completing his training, Jin was quick to share some photos of the two idols.

Of course, netizens were excited as it was that Jin had taken photos with Yoon, but the message that accompanied was even more heartfelt.

Seungyoon (Yoon), congratulations on your achievement. The past 6 weeks have been a pleasure.
(He’s the cool vocalist in WINNER).
You did well during your basic training and live well at your next assignment.
I asked him to take a photo in hopes that ARMY and INNER CIRCLE would like it.
Our company commander and company sergeant major are good people so he was well during the 6 weeks. (He didn’t receive any special treatment).

In particular, while many fans loved that Jin “Came home,” others pointed out that the last line was seemingly hitting back at haters who have accused Jin, and other idols, of having preferential treatment during their military enlistment.

As always, Jin proves to be the most supportive person when it comes to his fellow idols. He also makes sure netizens know that idols have the same treatment in the military, especially after backlash.
