BTS’s Jin Shocks Netizens After Making The Most Unexpected Cameo In TXT’s New Concept Photos
Although it’s been nearly a month since BTS‘s Jin enlisted for his mandatory military service, it seems like it sometimes doesn’t feel real. From the official updates from the military and the surprise video from Jin released on BTS’s YouTube channel, it feels like Jin is just away on a holiday, not serving in the army.
Well, it seems like someone else is out to make sure ARMYs don’t have to miss Jin too much, and it’s none other than the fellow HYBE group TXT.
Over the years, the two groups have treated netizens to some adorable interactions showcasing their friendship.
Despite the age and experience difference, the members are all seemingly very close and supportive of each other.
Well, it seems like they’re probably missing Jin as much as us after he made an unexpected cameo in their recent concept pictures… well Jin didn’t, but it was close enough in the form of Jin’s BT21 character RJ.
RJ is an alpaca who is a cute red parka because he gets cold easily. In the past, Jin was known for doodling alpacas, and his character was the perfect way to showcase his imagination.
On January 10 (KST), TXT posted teaser images for their upcoming album The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION. As expected, all the members looked flawless and embodied the unique concept they had teased.
Yet, two photos really stood out to eagle-eyed netizens, and they were of Soobin and Hueningkai. In the photos, the two members were surrounded by cute stuffed animals which contrasted with their mature visuals, cementing the theme of “Peter Pan.”
When netizens took a closer, they noticed a plushie of RJ in both of the photos. Although it was hidden, the red scarf and distinct features of the character were obvious, especially to fans.
After the images were shared online, netizens from both fandoms couldn’t get enough of the small BTS reference in the concept photos.

TXT and BTS always have the best friendship, and even small gestures like having RJ in the concept photos are enough to melt the hearts of multi-fandom netizens everywhere.
