BTS‘s Jungkook is soon releasing his debut solo album, GOLDEN.
Ahead of its release, Jungkook was interviewed at PICKCON. Korean media has labeled Jungkook as a “global pop star” since he collaborated with Western music artists Latto, Jack Harlow, and The Kid LAROI.
k_media just released an article naming jungkook "global pop star":
" Jungkook, who made a strong impact through the music video teaser, reaches the peak of his 'complete performance' and clearly establishes himself as the best male dance solo artist!"😭pic.twitter.com/13nMf6fitt

So, during his interview at PICKCON, he revealed his true feelings about this label. Jungkook explained while he is grateful, he is also embarrassed.
I’m very grateful and very embarrassed to be called a global pop star. except, I want to make sure that the singing, the dancing, the music, everything is perfect. I want to create my own color, so I do a lot of vocal practice on my own and monitor mysef to see where I need to improve. but I still feel like I have a lot to work on so I have to work harder.
