Photocards are one of the biggest parts of K-Pop, and many can sell for thousands of dollars. In particular, with the popularity of BTS and Jungkook, it’s not surprising that most of the most expensive photocards that have been sold are of Jungkook.

On July 30, Jungkook performed his solo debut track, “Seven,” on Inkigayo.

Of course, like every music show, ARMYs were able to attend. Jungkook treated those lucky fans to some adorable gifts. As expected, the gifts reflected Jungkook as a person as he gave them fruit, croissants, and much more.

Of course, along with all the cute gifts, there is always going to be a broadcast photocard, and Jungkook did not disappoint with a pouting photo holding up a seven sign. On the back, the message was just as cute, thanking ARMYs for coming to the performance.

When the photos of the photocards were posted, ARMYs couldn’t hide their love for the gift.

Considering how rare the photocard is, with only limited numbers being printed for the lucky ARMYs who attended, it wasn’t surprising that fans quickly saw them being sold online. In particular, one user was selling it for 93,000 Philippine pesos, which is just under $1700 USD.

After the tweet was shared, it wasn’t surprising that netizens couldn’t get over the price of the PC.

While it shocked fans, others explained that this wasn’t even the highest price they’d seen the limited edition card sell for. In just over 24 hours since ARMYs received the PCs, some saw them being sold for much more money on different platforms.

While it’s not uncommon for photocards to be sold for vast amounts of money, the fact these prices are so high so quickly showcases Jungkook’s popularity. Yet, some fans have shared their anger that Jungkook’s gifts are being sold when it was meant to be a loving present for fans.
