Fact Check: Did BTS’s Jungkook Break The Law When Smoking In Los Angeles?

Jungkook has continually pushed against the idea of how an idol should look and behave and recently continued doing so during a live stream.

On February 26, KST, the idol went live on Weverse, chatting with fans while doing karaoke with his older brother and a friend.

During the live, Jungkook mentioned that he wanted to talk about smoking, even though he does not smoke anymore, according to him and his friend. Jungkook continues by questioning why he couldn’t talk about it as he is nearly 30 years old.

The idol admitted that he used to smoke a lot, but that he worked very hard to quit. He also said that he would likely get a little bit of scolding from his company for talking about the subject.

Many fans expressed pride in the idol for managing to quit, knowing how difficult it is. Moreso, many were proud of the idol for speaking his mind despite instructions to no do so.
