Earlier in the month, Jungkook finally released his solo track “Seven,” and it instantly became a hit worldwide, with the video starring actress Han So Hee going viral.

On the July 27 episode of M Countdown, Jungkook’s song was nominated for first place alongside fellow HYBE artists NewJeans. ARMYs couldn’t hide their excitement when the idol got his second win for “Seven.”

Well, it seems like one person who was watching live and saw everything unfold was none other than the man himself. Shortly after Jungkook was announced as the winner, the idol went on to Weverse to share his feelings about the win.

ARMY, thank you for number one on ‘M Countdown!’ Thanks to you all, I was able to be number one on ‘M Countdown’ twice!!! Hehe. Uh… I was actually watching it live? I saw the trophy head come off hahaha. Hahahahahahah thank you!!!

In particular, Jungkook hilariously referenced the moment when the head of the trophy broke off. After the results were announced, host (G)I-DLE‘s Miyeon was holding the trophy, and all of a sudden, the top of the trophy came off.

Luckily, with some help from MONSTA X‘s Shownu and the younger idols, they quickly managed to get the top of the trophy back.

While Miyeon was making her closing comments, Shownu kept hold of the trophy head while Soyou held the rest of the trophy.

The chaotic picture of Miyeon trying to finish the closing comments with Shownu and Soyou holding parts of the trophy (and Hyungwon laughing in the background) was truly iconic for many fans.

The idols on M Countdown once again proved that the show is very much live, and the fact Jungkook even shared his own reaction to the funny moment shows how iconic it truly was.
