Not long after, YouTuber goyohansikdang made a video regarding the controversy and questioned whether Jungkook truly deserved this much backlash for his live stream.

In the video, he touched on three major points:

threhting

  1. Media that stirs up controversy for the sake of controversy.
  2. The atmosphere of treating Jungkook as a small rookie artist.
  3. The standards K-Netz applies to BTS are strange.

The atmosphere of all of this doesn’t make sense, as not even an idol fan, but as a fan of music. The position of Korean fans towards BTS…not even sure if you can call them fans. The K-Netizen stance towards BTS is almost ethic textbook-level. But I wonder if BTS is in a position where they have to listen to the complaints of Korean fans.

Many netizens agreed, stating that this type of stance seemed to be geared mostly towards Jungkook.

Totally agree with him. He’s not even an ARMY, and he thinks this way. I feel like the fandom needs to change its way of thinking.

This type of stance seems to always be used towards Jungkook. This isn’t the first time seeing two-sided ARMYs. They’re the ones making it into something bigger than it actually is.

Seriously…sure, you may not be a fan, but for me, who’s neutral…it felt like Jungkook was just fed up with everything.
