BTS has reached over 13 million followers on Twitter with the addition of 1,000,000 followers in just one and a half months.
The account had 13,042,250 followers as of March 5!
BTS opened their Twitter account back on December 17, 2012. On November 13, 2017 (within 4 years and 11 months), it became the first Korean account to achieve 1,000,000 followers.

Then on January 19, 2018, an additional 2,000,000 followers were added making their total count 12,000,000.

In relation to this surprising growth, the Billboard stated, “BTS fans gather on Twitter to see the messages posted by the members themselves. The powerful fandom army is spreading news about BTS worldwide in real-time.”
Meanwhile, BTS ranked #1 on the Billboard “Social 50” chart last October and have been maintaining the position.
