BTS recently released the music video for their latest track, “Permission To Dance,” and there is no denying that the group has created yet another smash hit!
However, the music video didn’t just gain attention for the catchy tune, bright atmosphere, and stunning visuals. When the video was released, fans praised the group for embracing and celebrating diversity!
One of the first things that fans noticed in the music video was that the members incorporated both Korean (KSL) and international (ASL) sign language into their choreography. The group’s record label later confirmed that this was the case, and the members were using sign language for the words “fun,” “dance,” and “peace.”
The music video also made sure that all of their fans would be able to relate to the narrative. Throughout the video, people of different ages, races, and nationalities were represented, ensuring that fans knew that BTS’s message of positivity was for everyone. It was also a way of celebrating how much diversity there is in the world!
To emphasize the message of hope during the pandemic, BTS perfectly portrayed this idea of hope for a better future. In the video, people from different essential jobs were also shown, highlighting the fantastic work they’ve done under challenging circumstances
