BTS Continues Record-Breaking Dominance Of Billboard Social 50 Chart, Surpassing This Popular Singer
In a show of their incredible influence, BTS once again topped the Billboard Social 50 chart this week, continuing their record-breaking dominance of the category.
This week marks their 135th week on top of the chart, and their 165th Social 50 No. 1. Last week they beat the record for the artist with the most No. 1 rankings on the chart, surpassing Justin Bieber, who has been at the top of the chart 163 times.
The chart’s rankings are determined by collecting data of the most popular artists on various social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, based on the artist pages’ engagement and views. And given how loyal and supportive ARMY’s are, it’s no wonder that they manage to keep hitting to top of the charts!
BTS’s new album Map of the Soul: 7 is set to release on February 21, and the single “Black Swan” already debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 57! This album is sure to break even more records as BTS continue to take the music industry by storm.
