ARMY Detectives Think BTS’s RM And J-Hope Are Teasing New Music In Their Latest Instagram Posts
If there is one thing that ARMYs excel at, it’s taking off their fandom hat and becoming detectives. For most people, if their favorite idol posts something or shares a message, they just take it as it is but not if you’re a K-Pop fan, and definitely not if you’re an ARMY.
ARMYs put on their detective caps and recently started their theory-making after BTS‘s RM and J-Hope posted some images on their Instagram.
Since BTS created Instagram accounts, fans have been flooded with content from pet pictures, trips out, and even sneak peeks of upcoming music with the members sharing their time in the studio.
On February 5, J-Hope posted pictures of himself in the studio with three different images saying the words “gift” “for” “‘ME'”. At first, nobody saw anything interesting about it… except for the fact that “Me” was written with quotation marks.
A few days later, on February 9, RM posted a picture on his account of some artwork by artist Yoon Hyup. It was a minimalistic piece which was a picture of the seven members. More interestingly, fans noticed the caption which said “WE.”
Similar to J-Hope’s post, it was written in capital letters with quotation marks around it.
Fans also noticed that “ME” and “WE” are mirror images of each other, which is known as an ambigram and particularly holds the meaning of reflection and the past, present, and future. If that isn’t spooky enough, one user noticed that the shape when the words are connected is the BTS logo.
It wouldn’t be the first time that BTS has teased fans with upcoming music using ambigrams. The group’s tracks “Save Me” and “I’m Fine” also work in the way that the words when can mirror each other just by the way it is written.
When ARMYs started sharing their thoughts, other fans couldn’t believe how they’d managed to link them all together. With the confirmation of a possible album this year, it wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for the members to tease it in the most subtle ways.

I just notice that hobi posted on his ig story with the text "ME" and namjoon posted a picture with "WE" in the caption is it a clue for their comeback??? it's like "WE" and "ME" is the reflection of each other like "SAVE ME" and "I'M FINE" pic.twitter.com/rQeRDgBxtC

Hopefully, when the details are released, fans can see if all their hunches and predictions were right. Although it might just be a coincidence, it just seems too good not to mean anything!
