"Hyung, You Don't Know My Voice?" BTS's Jungkook Calls RM... But There's A Twist

For their tenth anniversary, BTS had a celebration for ARMY in South Korea, the 2023 FESTA event in Yeouido.

Although fans were excited to see RM attend the event and speak to them, they were surprised by the leader’s iconic entrance.

And they loved seeing his kindhearted demeanor as he spent time with ARMY, proving how much he values his fans.

But one moment that especially stood out to fans was when Jungkook also made sure to be there for ARMY. Although he had already recorded the narration for the event…

He also called RM to speak with RM and ARMY live, which ARMY couldn’t have been more excited about. But, the unexpected twist to Jungkook’s call was that, at first, neither RM nor ARMY recognized Jungkook’s voice.

During his call, Jungkook gushed about RM, talking about being his loyal fan.

jungkook sent in his story saying he's a fan since joon's underground rapper days +it's a phone call to the 'radio station' so namjoon was like "hello? 🤙📞" (gesture of being on the phone) but then realised saying "wait actually it's the MZ gen now so it should be 📱🤳" IM DYING

But once Jungkook started singing “Take Two,” ARMY instantly recognized his angelic vocals even if RM remained confused.

Of course, it didn’t help that RM knew Jungkook was in the U.S., meaning Jungkook stayed awake to make the phone call.

Fans loved seeing the two interact, especially since they also got to hear Jungkook live. And they certainly couldn’t get over the unexpected hilarity of the moment.

Namjoon was pleasantly surprised by Jungkook's call! They are so adorable & cute. He didn't recognize JK's voice at first so he sang a verse from 'Take Two' but Joon just showered him with praises, saying his voice sounded familiar until JK said his name.
