Pharrell Confirms He's Collaborated With BTS's RM, And Here Are All The Details They've Spilled About The Track

Although BTS‘s RM is one of the biggest artists in the world, the group’s leader has never been afraid to share his appreciation toward other musicians.

In particular, RM has never been shy about the fact he has been a huge fan of Pharrell Williams for years.

They even met back in 2018 and it was the most wholesome interaction in the world.

Well, it seems like RM is truly living any fan’s dream, as it was recently revealed in an exclusive interview with Rolling Stones that the two have collaborated on a track.

The two recently appeared alongside each other in a special video and print exclusive with the publication.

In the interview, it seems like Pharrell’s love for BTS really did lead to something. During the interview, RM and Pharrell spoke about their upcoming projects, and Pharell spoke about his upcoming project.

Well, my project, it’s called . . . it’s [under] my name, and the title of the album is Phriends. It’s the volume one.

The significance of the album to BTS is huge and, as the title of the article explained, they spilled on a secret collaboration ARMYs can expect in the future.

You guys [BTS] are on there, obviously. And I’m actually talking about this way more than I’m supposed to, but it’s a song from my album that [BTS] sang and it’s amazing, and I’m super grateful.

It seems like it isn’t just Pharrel who made ARMYs excited as RM seems to be just as happy, adding, “I just love this song.”

In the video interview, when talking about the fact they first met at the Billboard Awards, Pharrell explained that he remembered and even wanted to work with the group back then.

I didn’t want to be aggressive so I was like… but I really wanted to. I think we took a photo backstage and I was working in the studio not too far off and I really wanted to be like, ‘f*ck all of this’… I wanted to be like, ‘Let’s leave here right now and go make some music.

Yet, as excited as fans are, many shared that it should’ve been obvious from the start and that RM has actually been giving us hints over the past few months.

During his birthday live broadcast, RM actually revealed that he had been working with a lot of different artists. Although he also specified his own album, he didn’t rule out appearing on others, which included his recent track with Balming Tiger.

I think I am going to work with people who are my friends. So, I might do some surprising collaborations from now on. A lot of different people helped me out in the album, a lot of surprising choices.
