BTS’s RM Reveals How He Prepared And How He Felt After The United Nations Speech

BTS made an appearance on “Good Morning America”, where RM revealed just how much effort went into preparing for his speech in front of the United Nations.

BTS sat down for an exclusive interview with Good Morning America in Times Square, New York. Just before they performed their hit, “IDOL”, the members talked about their speech at the United Nations General Assembly, their upcoming sold out stadium concert, and more!

RM revealed that although he may have seemed confident during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, he was actually shaking with nervousness even when he prepared for it a thousand times over!

“Actually, I trained for it like a thousand times. It’s like I imagined it, and I think I did it okay.

But I was holding the paper and my hands were shaking like a thousand times per second. It was a nervous thing, but it was like the best moment in my life.”

But just as BTS has always done, RM pulled through with flying colors and he once again announced how all of their success was only possible because of the love and support from their ARMYs.

“It’s like all because of ARMY, like here. Just practicing hard and making our music to the best… You know, we can never pay [them back] enough but they always send us love and support. That’s how it happened.

It’s all because of ARMYs.”

Jungkook also pitched in to reveal that they’re having a great time celebrating all of the achievements together with their fans from all around the globe through their sold out “Love Yourself” world tour!

“We got love and energy and support from ARMY, so we’re having a great time!”

And it all ties back to the fact that the love between BTS and ARMY runs strong because of their powerful message to love yourself in order to find true love!

“We thought that the most thing the young generation needed is that true love first begins with loving myself. So we thought that reminding [them] of this word, ‘loving yourself’ – it’s not rare these days – but I think that just reminding these words to the world could have some meaning to ARMYs and to ourselves.

True love first begins with loving ourselves, and we’re trying to love ourselves too. And I hope the ARMYs could do the same too.”

From speaking in front of the United Nations, selling out stadiums, performing at Times Square, to devoting it all to their fans, BTS is on a roll with no end in sight!
