Ever since BTS‘s vacation began, RM has been visiting art galleries around the US, including The Chinati Foundation in Texas and The National Gallery of Art in Washington. Now he is visiting one of the country’s most famous galleries, The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met).
Today, on Instagram, RM shared a collection of vacation photos, including this selfie from The Met.
The last time RM was here, he was standing at a podium, speaking as a Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture at the 76th United Nations General Assembly.
Back in September, BTS delivered a message of hope to today’s young people, who are struggling to find it in the COVID-19 pandemic.
“And the next time we come,” RM said, at the end of his speech. “as there are many artworks here at The Met that I personally really, really love, I’d like to return and admire the Korea Gallery and the incredible collections here at The Met as myself, human being Kim Namjoon.”
RM has now returned to The Met not as a presidential envoy or a world-famous star, but simply as himself, Kim Namjoon.
