BTS Story To Be Made Into Film And Released In November

Get ready!

The story of the biggest boyband in the world, BTS, will be made into a film and released in CGV theaters in November!

The film, which is titled Burn the Stage: The Movie, will be a documentary about BTS and their journey through their 2017 world tour. It will be released in the multiplex cinema chain CGV on November 15th.

The film is expected to be showing in not only Korea, but in America and Australia as well.

Fans should be aware of the Youtube Red original series BTS: Burn The Stage, which was released earlier this year.

The 1-hour-25-minute film will also contain the behind story of the “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour” like BTS: Burn The Stage, but also include additional never-before-seen footage as well as re-edited clips.

BTS toured 19 cities around the world during 2017 for their “2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour”.

Meanwhile, some Korean netizens have been a little skeptical about the new film, claiming that it was simply too much:

  • “This is a little too much”
  • “Just write a novel for goodness sakes!”
  • “Just release it on Youtube, isn’t this over-exaggerating it a bit? It’ll probably be criticized…Let them be exempt from the army instead of this…”
  • “Is this like a national joke or something?
  • “I wonder if they’ll even get 1 million views…The popular BIGBANG made some film and even they completely flopped”
  • “Only fangirls will go watch it”
  • “Come on, enough already”
  • “Seriously, they’re starting to get on my nerves now. Go to the army”

Nonetheless, fans are extremely excited about this upcoming film!
