BTS Break Their Own Record As They And TXT Rank In Top 10 Of Billboard Charts
BTS and their fellow labelmates are all ranking high in the Billboard charts.
The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber‘s “Stay” is staying on top of the Billboard charts, including Hot 100 and both Global charts. It’s officially Justin Bieber’s longest leading hit as an artist. This is specifically its fifth week at No. 1 for Hot 100.
According to MRC Data, for the United States, the radio airplay for “Stay” was up by a lot (23%), and it ultimately drew 63.4 million audience impressions. But streams were down 3%, with 31.7 million U.S. streams. Similarly, downloads were down 4%, with 13,700 downloads sold for the week ending Aug. 26.
As for our “song of the summer,” BTS’s “Butter” actually went from No. 8 to No. 7 again on the Hot 100 chart in its 14 consecutive weeks in the top 10. It has officially surpassed a previous record held by another BTS hit, “Dynamite,” and is now the longest-running top 10 hit by a Korean act in Hot 100 history.
“Butter” is again leading Digital Song Sales for the 13th week with 68,800 sold. Its sales as up 25%, “sparking the chart’s top Sales Gainer award.”
BTS’s “Permission to Dance” is also ranked in the top 5 of this week’s top-selling songs at No. 5, while “Butter” is No. 1.
