Yet, while he tried to talk to fans, the idol gained attention after seemingly “calling out” fans for their comments.

At one point, the idol explained that he always saw the same comments from ARMYs during live broadcasts.

The mostly the comments used to be like, ‘Yoongi, marry me,’ TMI, selca, Have you heard of Mongolia? Can you come to Europe? Do you know Sweden?

V then seemed to get frustrated as he explained that the questions were ones he obviously knew and that he wanted fans to send in fun and unique questions for him to answer.

Guys, why wouldn’t I know? ARMYs need to think of fun questions.

After a few seconds, V explained that it wasn’t limited to those comments and that all he seemed to see were people saying it was their birthday or asking him to wave.

The idol then explained that it was becoming a cliche and that as the group gets older, they need different and “upgraded” questions. He then explained that he never said he wouldn’t read comments but that if he saw funny ones, he would he’d read them all out.

After the broadcast, ARMYs shared their anger at the comments the idols were seeing, with many bringing back guides to Korean comments that will be positive.

Yet, it’s not the first time BTS members have shared their opinions on the comments they see during live broadcasts, and leader RM also gained attention for his response.

During a broadcast in April, RM surprised fans when he suddenly exclaimed, “Many people are writing strange things in the chat.” RM then made a short comment that took over the internet as he explained, “You guys changed…”

While Weverse is the perfect place to interact with idols, many fans are worried that groups might be put off reading comments if they continue seeing the same ones, particularly if they’re about other members or just spam.
