BTS's V Makes History On Instagram As His Follower Count Continues To Surge

When all seven members of BTS joined Instagram on December 6, ARMYs instantly followed them. Despite just opening accounts, they immediately garnered millions of followers.

Still, there is one member who has especially stood out as they break records on the app.

It’s only just the start of 2022, but V is already breaking records. He has now surpassed 30 million followers on Instagram and achieved this milestone in just 27 days.

He’s one of the most followed Korean male acts on the app, officially making him an Instagram influencer.

In this achievement, he broke a record previously held by BLACKPINK‘s Lisa. She held the record of “fastest Asian act to reach 30 million followers on Instagram.”

V has set many records since opening his Instagram account. He became the fastest individual to gain 1 million followers, 2 million, 3 million, etc., and now 29 and finally 30 million. According to Guinness World Records, “V, in particular, led the charge in terms of follower count, breaking the record for the fastest time to reach 1 million followers on Instagram in just 43 minutes.”

Aside from the 2 records crowned by @GWR, GUINNESS WORLD RECORD HOLDER V also holds:
