BTS’s V Celebrates Jungkook’s Birthday By Releasing Footage Of The Highly Anticipated Sparring Match Between The Duo

Many ARMYs missed the post because V forgot how Twitter works! 😂

For K-Pop fans worldwide, September 1 is a special day because it marks the birthday of BTS‘s maknae Jungkook! Every year, ARMYs worldwide come together to celebrate the special day, and they’re not alone. Whenever a BTS member has a birthday, the rest of the members make sure to find the best way to celebrate, and this year was no exception.

Of course, the members all had their own ways of wishing Jungkook a happy birthday, especially through the group’s Twitter account.

One member’s birthday message particularly stood out to fans, and it was from BTS’s V!

Although BTS’s V has been traveling for personal schedules in America, it seems as if nothing would stop him from wishing his younger brother a happy birthday… and there was even a gift for ARMYs at the same time.

Jungkook has always proved that he’s basically good at everything, and particularly proved it when showcasing his boxing skills. Throughout 2022, Jungkook has wowed netizens with his ability and sent the internet into a meltdown.

Although fans were impressed, one person who had a very different view was V. After seeing the video, V posted, “Let’s do some sparring soon,” and it seemed like he wanted to practice his own skills on Jungkook… yet, as the older member, J-Hope rightly urged caution, replying, “Will you be fine? Hahahahahaha.”

Yet, if J-Hope wanted to warn V against it, it was too late as Jungkook replied to the thread with, “Come on in (and let’s fight).”

Later in a Q&A with ARMYs, when Jungkook asked what he should do, a fan said, “Boxing with Taehyungie hyung.” However, Jungkook didn’t seem worried as he replied, “He’s no match for meㅎ.”

After an ARMY later asked V when the sparring match was going to happen, V replied, “[We] did it already.”

Ever since then, ARMYs have been waiting for the day that they can witness the epic match, and it turns out Jungkook’s birthday was the perfect occasion.

On Twitter, V posted a video with the captions, “Happyjkday,” “Jungkook let’s spar one day,” and “Jungkook let’s spend a healthy and happy year.”

In the video, after what seems like forever, ARMYs finally have video evidence of Jungkook and V sparring. Although Jungkook is the expert, V seemed to have taken some tips from his younger member and was holding his own.

When the video was posted, ARMYs couldn’t get enough of the fact that wishing Jungkook a happy birthday was the first thing he did when arriving in Korea. They also loved that they had finally gotten a peek at the sparring match they had been anticipating for months.

ARMYs also joked that as happy as they were about getting the video, the time BTS had away from Twitter, including focusing on Weverse and Instagram, meant the members forgot how to use the platform.

As V started the post with an @, the video didn’t appear on many people’s feeds as it was categorized as a reply as well as the fact that V used @ signs for his hashtags on the posts

Hopefully, even with the tweet only appearing in BTS’s replies and tweets section, ARMYs got to see the iconic video. Although it seemed like some fun, it would be interesting to see who would win in a proper sparring match between two of the youngest BTS members.
