BTS‘s V finally released information about his upcoming solo debut and along with the small details, netizens can’t stop gushing about the “real” star of the album.
On August 8, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement when the first teaser was dropped for V’s solo debut with Layover. From the trailer alone, it wasn’t surprising that fans couldn’t hide their excitement about what to expect.
On Instagram, V was already teasing ARMYs with what to expect, and fans couldn’t hide their reactions after V posted a photo of what looked like the album that seemingly resembled a post package.
In particular, ARMYs were reminded of BTS’s anniversary content when V suggested that the best way to spread the word about BTS was through “Mail ads,” and it seemingly influenced the image of his album.
There were also beautiful snippets of what ARMYs could expect from the aesthetic of the album, which suited the idol perfectly and gave off more vintage vibes.
Yet, along with all the small details, it seems like V might not even be the star of his own album, and it’s not ARMYs, either. It seems like the star of the album is none other than V’s dog and another member of the BTS family, Yeontan.
Over the years, V and Yeontan have treated fans to some of the most wholesome interactions possible in K-Pop.

When the photos were all posted, netizens couldn’t get over the “real” star of V’s solo debut, even joking that it seemed as if BIGHIT MUSIC would be promoting Yeontan’s album.
