BTS’s J-Hope Is The First K-Pop Solo Act To Reach A Huge Spotify Milestone

Congratulations, J-Hope!

BTS members keep breaking records left and right, and J-Hope is no exception to that rule, having reached a huge milestone himself early on April 26.

J-Hope has 8 songs total now on Spotify, 7 from his mix tape, Hope World, that came out in March 2018 — “Daderim”, “Airplane”, “Hope World”, “Blueside”, “Baseline”, “Always”, and “P.O.P” — and one single, “Chicken Noodle Soup”, which was released on the app in September 2019.

Fans have been streaming his music a lot, and it shows in his stats. The record he broke has to do with his follower count — which has now reached over 3 million, the most of any solo K-Pop act.

With an average of 4,500 new followers every day, it’s no wonder that he’s gained so many total! And a huge number of followers isn’t all that J-Hope has earned. His mix tape has recently passed 200 million streams on the app, and his single hit “Chicken Noodle Soup” has gained about 41 million on its own (as well as over 150 million views on YouTube).

It will be interesting to see just how many followers and streams he continues to earn!
