The video claimed, “2013-2025 RM was literally Tarzzan.” The statement has sparked controversy among international K-Pop fans.

@yapdapmeup if we had 2013 RM today yall would have HATEDDDD him #fyp #bts #kpop #adp #alldayproject ♬ original sound – kell yeah!

Many responded to it accusing RM of behaving even worse in the past than Tarzzan does now.

Some even mentioned the SBS Inkigayo performance during which RM said the n-word and other instances.

Others shared photos of RM wearing controversial braid hairstyles, similar to ones Tarzzan has constantly been condemned for.

However, there were also fans that claimed such comparisons are harmful and that they both should be held accountable.

On the other hand, many defended RM. Fans brought up his previous apologies and claimed that he has since massively changed.

Similar debate and arguments raged on in the comment section of the now-viral TikTok as well. The video now has nearly 200,000 views and more than 13,000 likes.
