One of baseball’s biggest traditions is having a special guest throw the game’s first pitch. This is always symbolic and done almost everywhere the sport is played, with guests sometimes going viral for their appearances.

Recently, CIX member BX attended a baseball game, where he threw the first pitch.

BX is a big fan of the KIA Tigers and was given the chance to throw the first pitch at their game on March 26. Before the game, he got to practice his pitching skills with his favorite player, Kim Doyoung.

His excitement was obvious when it was time for BX to take the field. From photos taken of the pitch, he looked handsome and confident as he threw the ball, signaling the start of the game.

However, the video of his pitch told a different story.

BX looked professional as he did the wind-up…

…but his throw ended up missing the mark, veering off to the side and not making it to the home base.

BX looked a bit embarrassed after, covering his face with his hand as he laughed. The announcers also reacted, laughing good-naturedly.

After his pitch, BX went on the fromm fan messaging platform and told fans that he wanted to cry and later said the members teased him over the pitch.

Despite the mildly embarrassing moment, BX had a great time at the game, dancing to the group’s song.
