CL making a solo comeback this November with second release
YG Entertainment‘s latest “Who’s Next?” hints have been confirmed to be for 2NE1 member CL‘s upcoming solo album!
After two years since the release of her last solo with The Baddest Female single in May 2013, she will finally be returning with a second solo release.
Despite the fans wishes and hopes that 2NE1 would make a comeback as a whole, it seems that only a fourth of them will be doing so this time around. In fact, hints that the group would be releasing a new album had netizens discussing the pros and cons of Park Bom‘s return since her drug controversy last year.
On November 12th, according to an official, CL has completed the work for her solo album and is currently preparing to undergo promotions soon.
In October, YG Entertainment representative Yang Hyun Suk had spoken on 2NE1’s comeback, stating that they are currently focused on CL’s solo career in the U.S. and 2NE1 will be coming back following.
Meanwhile, CL has been preparing to release a U.S. album in the past year and has been featured in tracks for Skrillex and Diplo, accompanying them in various events.
