CL Responds To Claims That She’s No Longer Working With Scooter Braun
It has come to fans’ attention that 2NE1 member CL may no longer be part of Scooter Braun’s management agency, SB Projects. Scooter Braun‘s agency managed top star artists, such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly and more.
The issue came to light after fans posted this online conversation with Scooter Braun himself.

In the message conversation, Scooter Braun reveals that he tried his best to get CL into the music scene in the States but her ties to “them” ultimately hindered their attempts. He explained how they were both frustrated over the situation but there was nothing he could do.
CL soon responded to the claims with a question towards Scooter Braun.
Wait..we parted ways? @scooterbraun 🤔 lol

Scooter Braun responded to her Tweet, claiming they “ran away from each other” but cannot wait to work together again.
Scooter Braun’s management agency was in charge of CL’s activities in the United States when she signed on in 2014. She released tracks such as “Doctor Pepper, “Hello Bitches” and “Lifted” during that time, but failed to release her highly-anticipated solo album.
The online chatter led fans to assume that there were simply other factors that happened behind-the-scenes. As for now, fans continue to support CL as they await for her long awaited US debut.
