K-Pop Idol Faces Ex-Wife’s Wrath Over Repeatedly Bringing Up Their Divorce On Camera
Ulzzang-turned-influencer Song Da Ye, better known to K-Pop fans as the ex-wife of CLICK B member Kim Sanghyuk, has expressed strong discomfort over repeated mentions of their divorce on broadcast. As a result, the idol’s recent YouTube content containing those references was ultimately deleted and heavily edited.

On April 9, 2026 (KST), Song Da Ye took to social media, saying, “Every time my ex-husband appears on TV, he brings up the divorce, which leads to articles I never asked for.”
I’ve been going through this situation repeatedly every few years… Even if I wasn’t directly mentioned, if the other party feels uncomfortable, shouldn’t they be able to request edits? I’ve moved on and am living well, but being reminded of that time is extremely painful.

The controversy began with a teaser released on April 7 on TV personality Jang Sung Kyu‘s YouTube channel. Jang Sung Kyu first brought up the divorce while speaking to his elementary school classmate Kim Sang Hyuk, saying, “I even had a meal with your (then) wife.” When it was hinted that behind-the-scenes stories about the divorce would be revealed in the full episode, Song Da Ye publicly spoke out against it.

As the controversy grew, the channel promptly deleted the teaser video and made it private. In the full episode released on April 10, all mentions of Song Da Ye and the divorce were completely edited out.
Kim Sanghyuk and Song Da Ye got married on April 7, 2019, but they split exactly one year later, on April 7, 2020. Later, in Song Da Ye’s interview, it was revealed that the two never actually registered their marriage and had simply lived together in a common-law relationship.
