CNBLUE’s Jungshin confirmed for SBS’s “Shaolin Clenched Fist”
It has been confirmed that CNBLUE’s bassist Lee Jungshin will be joining season two of SBS’s variety show Shaolin Clenched Fist.
Apart from his band activities, Jungshin has become more active in the television scene, such as participating in KBS’s Seoyoung, My Daughter, The Blade and Petal, and SBS’s Temptation that broadened his venture as an actor.
In becoming more well known in the drama scene, his appearance on variety shows is still rather limited. Thus, fans are greatly anticipating his upcoming appearances on Shaolin Clenched Fist.
Jungshin will be cast beside Kim Byung Man and Rose Inn’s Yook Joong Hwan from the first season as well as comic artist Kim Poong and actors Park Chul Min and On Joo Wan.
With TEEN TOP’s Niel and ZE:A’s Dongjun in season one, the show will continue to shoot the daily lives of the new cast members living in the Shaolin Temple, displaying the process where the members learn martial arts through severe training courses including morning exercises and meditation by the monks of the temple.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE has recently ended their Japan tour in May and Jungshin is currently the MC of Mnet’s M! Countdown with SHINee’s Key and GOT7‘s Bambam and Junior.
