The 2001 liner began his military enlistment reportedly due to “boredom” after attending college. According to some fan sources, the idol studied in the Media, Visual Art & Advertising department at Sangji University, and graduated with a degree, though the latter part has not officially been confirmed.

After his enlistment, Jeongwoo pursued his first love, acting, and appeared in O.WHEN‘s music video for “all of my love” in July 2025.
