One of the hottest K-Dramas right now has to be Crash Course In Romance. The series follows star maths tutor Choi Chi Yeol (played by Jung Kyung Ho), whose world gets turned upside down after encountering former athlete and sidedish store owner Nam Haeng Son (played by Jeon Do Yeon).
Throughout the series, netizens have been loving the blossoming relationship between Choi Chi Yeol and Nam Haeng Son…
But also, the supporting cast of established and rising stars has given the series so many layers and storylines that work perfectly in harmony.
Yet, amidst all the romance and beautiful storytelling from the main cast, netizens love to hate the fact that there is a dark side to the show.

While suspicions have been circulating social media since the first appearance, someone unexpected seems to be the key suspect… and it’s none other than Chi Yeol’s support system, Ji Dong Hui (played by Shin Jae Ha).

Yet, rather than his intentions being malicious towards Chi Yeol, other netizens believe that it couldn’t be further from the truth. Rather, it could be that Mr. Ji wants to protect Chi Yeol, as he has shown his dedication in the past.
Many believe that he is the brother of Choi Chi Yeol’s student, who viewers found out committed suicide earlier in the series. In particular, many believe that after everything Chi Yeol did for his sister, he has become obsessed with protecting the star teacher, especially after receiving the pen as a child.
At first, it seemed impossible for the calm and practical Mr. Ji to do anything wrong.
In particular, in the most recent episodes, the usually calm and efficient Mr. Ji showcased what could be his true colors. When on the phone and things weren’t going the right way, he got both extremely emotional and angry, throwing his phone across the room.
