“Disband Already” — ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) Members Allegedly “Mock” Losing “Boys II Planet” Trainee

It has given some a negative image of the group.

On September 25, the nine trainees who would be debuting as part of Boys II Planet‘s final group were announced during the final episode.

Introducing The Final Debut Lineup For “Boys II Planet” Group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1)

Like any survival series, the final elimination ceremony was very emotional for the trainees and viewers. However, a viral clip has sparked buzz online, including accusations of debuting trainees mocking one who did not make the final cut.

In a video seemingly taken after many of the members of ALD1 were selected, a few can be seen doing what appears to be a dance move.

The particular movement is from a performance earlier in the show by the Chains team, which consisted of Jun Leejeong, Kim Geonwoo, Lee Leo, Lee Sangwon, Zhang Jiahao, and Zhou Anxin.

Of the members of the Chains team that were in the final episode, only Jun Leejeong did not make it into the top nine for debut. As some of the members of the Chains unit danced, the video’s perspective changed to focus on Leejeong, who appeared to put his head down in reaction.

Many felt that this was a “mocking” gesture or insensitive at the least towards Leejeong.

Ah, in the end, everyone except Jun Leejeong, who practiced the hardest alone, debuted. What a bunch of terrible, poisonous jerks lol. They danced like this, yet they mock the one who worked the hardest and never even got close to debuting lol.

On the other hand, other felt that the winning trainees were just celebrating, rather than specifically attempting to “mock” anyone else.
