“I’m Not Crying, You’re Crying” — A Disbanded Boy Group’s Reunion Leaves Fans Emotional

Their friendship is still going strong 🥺

Pledis Entertainment‘s five-member boy group NU’EST made their eye-catching debut in 2012 with “FACE”. They persevered through ups and downs until they disbanded in 2022—after the release of their last album, Needle & Bubble, and the expiration of their contracts.

While disbanded groups usually reunite after several years and only for special occasions, that wasn’t the case for NU’EST.

Less than two years later, the five former NU’EST members surprised fans by recently meeting for a meal.

Hwang Minhyun mentioned that it’s been a “long time” since they met and told fans through his X (formerly known as Twitter) account how long the members chatted with each other.

Since it’s been over a year and a half since NU’EST disbanded, seeing the group reunite made fans emotional and grateful they were still close friends.

Regardless of NU’EST’s status as a group, the members and fans still share a special bond that will continue to live on.
