“Disbanded” 3rd Gen Group Announces Comeback After 6 Years
Disbandments and indefinite hiatuses are often a death sentence for K-Pop groups, but one is defying the odds and rising from the ashes.

CROSS GENE debuted in 2012 under Amuse Korea and was active until 2021. The group debuted as a sextet but currently consists of only two members: Shin Wonho and Yongseok.
In February, CROSS GENE made a mysterious announcement: an Instagram post with a question mark and the phrase “What is next?”, sparking speculation about a group comeback. They revealed that Yongseok, who also goes by Wonchan, would return to the group. Shin Wonho and Yongseok would be active as a duo, beginning with an appearance at Shin Wonho’s 15th anniversary concert on March 27.
