According to a Dispatch reporter who was live-streaming BTS’s arrival, a foreigner allegedly disguised herself as a reporter in an attempt to get close to Jimin.

A foreigner pretended [to be a] reporter. But actually, she’s a Jimin fan. She was inside the reporter’s line, so the guards tried to move her.

The individual reportedly positioned herself within the press line, making it difficult for security to immediately spot her. Guards eventually intervened and stopped her before she could reach Jimin.

Thankfully, no harm came to the member, but the incident has sparked widespread concern among fans.

BTS were safely escorted, but fans continue to stress the importance of keeping members like Jimin protected at all times.
