Recently, Hoshi was active on Weverse and commented on a post that took childhood photos of himself and Wonwoo, and it was animated to make them look like they were hugging.

Netizens quickly realized that the OP had use AI to create the post.

When the post was shared, many expressed their anger and disgust at AI being used with the members’ baby photos to create something, especially given how the technology uses media and the lack of knowledge of what it can be used for in the future. In particular, many pointed out that the fan seemingly completely disregarded SEVENTEEN’s message in “MAESTRO,” which criticized the use of AI.

AI is a very controversial topic and has particularly impacted SEVENTEEN after an article seemingly accused the group and lead producer Woozi of using AI to create the songs.
