Rapper Dok2 Under Investigation For Tax Evasion
On October 29, it was revealed that rapper Dok2 is under investigation for tax evasion, and it is expected to continue until the beginning of November.
Dok2 is part of the 122 high-income earners in Korea who are currently being investigated by the National Tax Service. They began their investigations on October 16, 2019.
Dok2 drew suspicion from Korean citizens for his extravagant lifestyle, which included flaunting luxury cars and watches on social media. They reportedly filed a petition to the Blue House for the rapper to be investigated.
When reached out to for a statement, Dok2’s representatives said,
It is true that Dok2 is being investigated for tax evasion by the National Tax Service—not because he was suspected of tax evasion but because he was included in a survey of high-income entertainers and influencers. We haven’t found any results yet.
