ENHYPEN’s Heeseung Tells Himself He Doesn’t Have Any Weaknesses—Here’s Why
ENHYPEN‘s Heeseung has a tip for those who are eager to gain confidence!
Recently, Heeseung sat down for an interview with Weverse Magazine. When on the topic of being confident, he was asked about the time he guested on Weekly Idol and claimed he has no weaknesses.
But on Weekly Idol you also gave your strengths as ‘lots’ and your weaknesses as ‘none.’ (laughs)

Rather than overflowing with pride, Heeseung tells himself he has none because it helps increase his confidence. He prefers to focus on his strengths instead of acknowledge his shortcomings because he believes that it is a great way to hide them.
I look at telling yourself you don’t have any weaknesses, even though you do, as a way to boost confidence. I figured it’s better to work on the countless possibilities I have rather than acknowledge my shortcomings. That way, I can hide my weaknesses in my strengths.
Ultimately, Heeseung credits that change in mindset as the reason why he was able to “overcome a lot.” He called it the “easiest” and “most effective” way of changing one’s self.
Changing your mindset is the easiest and most effective way you can change. I was able to overcome a lot thanks to trying to keep that attitude about myself.
