ENHYPEN recently dealt with frightening mobbing situations during a visit to China.

The group recently headed to Shanghai for a fan sign event, departing from Gimpo Airport on March 16. Many fans attended their departure, but security managed to keep them a distance from the group at first, including Sunghoon, who was recently unwell.

However, all other parts of their journey to China were much less peaceful, with the group being mobbed by fans in other areas. Images and videos show the group struggling to move through the crowds of fans taking videos.

At one point, Jay speaks up, asking that fans make room as the group look distressed while standing up against a wall.

However, the situation did not improve even after the group left the airport in China.

In videos alleged to be from the group’s hotel, swarms of fans can be seen running after ENHYPEN’s vehicle. In other clips, as the group exit the vehicle, fans break through the security, managing to get close enough that it appears Sunghoon gets hit in the head by a phone.

These events have left fans outraged, with many demanding BE:LIFT Lab take stronger actions to protect ENHYPEN.
